Lies our fathers taught us

| Sunday Resurrection |
The resurrection of the Messiah was on the Seventh Day Sabbath. Christ died on a Wednesday and rose from the dead on the Seventh Day of the Week, as proved in the chronology book. See, "Passion Chronology" Chapter here. |
| Justified by Faith |
This often heard phrase in the Church is a mistranslation for the original Greek, which is brought to justice by [Messiah's] faithfulness. The book The Righteousness and Justice of God explains where the Church went wrong and how to correct it. |
| That God requires perfection to be saved |
Does God require perfection to be saved? Many Christians act and teach like he does. They say he does, and then give up and do nothing to please him, since they are afraid it might be "earning" salvation. |
| A pre-tribulation rapture |
The pre-tribulation rapture is a side issue doctrine that has been heretically turned into a major doctrine and test of faith by American Fundamentalist Christians. Those who teach this doctrine do not realize that divine deliverance from the Anti-Christ will come in the land of Israel. In order to provide 'hope' for Christians in the face of the Anti-Christ, they teach this doctrine as their means of escape. However, the Almighty will provide his Ark in the land of Israel, and that is where the faithful will be delivered for the necessary 1260 days. Meanwhile, those who trusted in the rapture for deliverance will fall as the Anti-Christ turns his wrath against the nations for 42 months. |
| That Christians are not part of Israel. |
Christians that follow a dispensationalist theology teach that Christians are not part of Israel. They teach that the "Church" and "Israel" are separate, and that God has separate plans for each. This doctrine of 'separate but equal' fails to recognize that God desires Israel to be one nation and one people, and no longer two nations and two people. |
| That the Torah is abolished and nailed to the cross. |
This false doctrine is thoroughly debunked and disproved in many places on this website, which show that the Church and translators have corrupted the interpretation and translation of many texts to support this false doctrine. |
| That tithes must be paid to the Church |
Does your preacher say that tithes should be paid to the Church? Tithes comes out of the Torah where it says that the increase of the field and flock is supposed to be tithed at 10% to the Levites and Levitical Priests. The local Church does not have the right to collect the tithe. They may only accept gifts as God leads. Right now we are in exile, and are not free. Where is the tithe going right now? It is called the "income tax" and it is going to the United States Government. |
| That one is under moral obligation to pay all debts | Did you know that all debtors are not under moral obligation to pay their debts? That's right. In the 7th year the debts are supposed to be forgiven and cancelled. If it is past the 7th year, then in God's eyes you do not owe the debt. You may still have to pay it according to man's rules, but you are not guilty if you don't. |
| Paying and collecting interest is a normal biblical practice |
You would think it was normal because of the system we live under. But it is not. Paying and collecting interest on money on defines the relationship between Exploiters and the exploited. If you charge interest, then you are exploiting and making slaves out of those you charge it to. If you pay it, then the one who is charging you is an exploitive enemy by biblical definition. That's why usury is banned for Israel in the scripture, and meant only for God's enemies. To collect interest from a fellow countryman is a serious transgression in the Bible. |
