The Truth about the Torah Calendar Website
Testimony by Daniel Gregg, Nov. 2013

First I have it on the evidence of two witnesses that the author of the www.torahcalendar.com website is Terry Fehr, formerly of Saskatoon, Canada, and married to Carmen Fehr, and living in Israel, and connected with at least one new moon sighting group in Israel. Terry bought a copy of my book recently, "The Sabbath Resurrection," and clearly he has made some changes to his site because of the book. To my knowledge, he has never disclosed a complete chronology of Scripture. See below.
Around 2003 Terry asked permission to use parts of my calendar program in a calendar book he published and sent to friends, titled "The Ancient Hebrew Calendar 2003-2007" under the pen name Eliyahu Ben Yissachar. He also obviously used my computer code. He had my permission at that time.

The second shot on the torahcalendar website is clearly derived from the template in the book it have. When I was in personal contact with Terry he highly praised the computer program I had written. I don't remember the exact words, but he said in essence that God had appointed me to do the task. I have never said as such about myself in public, nor do I intend to. My work can speak for itself, and I will NOT accept prophetical appointments from anyone.

During my brief acquaintance with Terry we discussed biblical chronology. I had already worked it out then, much as it appears today on this website. Terry's date for Messiah's crucifixion and resurrection is taken directly from my work (AD 34). Terry has never given me proper credit on his website for any of my work. There is at least one reference to me on his site but not in connection to anything that is substantial. There have been only a few tcchanges in the chronology I presented to him then, and that is that I have corrected the date of Messiah's birth from 3 BC to 2 BC. Quite a while after I made this correction. Terry put up a page on his website calling my 2 BC date "False Teaching".  He uses my shots, and does not clearly distinguish between his words and mine, nor does he give me direct credit for them, nor does he reference my website.  Here is my expose. And a power point refuting his argument.
We did discuss Biblical Chronology back around 2003. The fundamental structure of my chronological research dates back to around 1994. At the time Terry was heavily into chronological research using Jewish sources from the Talmud, such as Seder Olam. I made it very clear to him at that time that his chronology of the Neo-Babyonian Empire was seriously in error because he had decided to disregard the archaeological and astronomical data fixing the reign of Nebuchadnezzar. I have linked some helpful videos on this subject in my favorites playlist on my youtube channel.  The author of these videos is Londo Mollari, and his aim is to refute the Watchtower Society for their erring chronology. Londo does a good job of it. The same refutation applies to the foundation of Terry's chronology.  In the context of these discussions Terry put himself forward as the one appointed by God to figure out biblical chronology. I don't accept his praise of me as appointed to calculate the calendar, nor do I accept his self appointment as God's chronologer.  That was 10 years ago or so.
Terry is an advoacate of the 7000 year scheme. I refute that here. My personal impression of Terry's research was that it was way too much dependent on Jewish tradition rather than Scripture and hard archaeological and astronomical science. He didn't listen then. And he isn't listening now. I pray that someday he will listen, and I really hope he does not apostacize to Judaism.
