Daniel's Literal Translation and Commentary
The Renewed Covenant by Daniel Gregg
"Mark 15:46 And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulcher which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulcher" (DLT: torahtimes.org).
linen: σινδονα ...τη σινδονι. This Greek word means a single piece of linen cloth that they wrapped Yeshua in. Joseph bought this before the beginning of the annual Sabbath. Later, according to John, he must have came back on Friday with Nicodemus to finish embalming Yeshua. John uses a word meaning strips of linen and not a single piece of cloth. (DLC: torahtimes.org)
