32 And the people rose up all that day and all the night and all the day after¹, and gathered the quail (he who gathered least gathered ten homers) and they spread them out for themselves all around the camp.

 1. The definition of the “day after” here begins at daybreak (i.e. dawn or sunrise). It is clear that it begins at the end of the preceding night. For the people rose up “all the night” כָל־הַלַּיְלָה first. And then it says “and all the day after” (וְכֹל יוֹם הַמָּחֳרָת).
