The Agenda

By Daniel Gregg

No. 1: That everyone who holds to Messiah Yeshua will not lose their faithfulness to Him due to divisive attacks on the historicity of Scripture. That moreover, you will strengthen your faith through an understanding of Biblical Chronology.

No.2: That you will understand that Messiah died for our sin, and that this means His blood cleanses us from all sin, after we confess our sins and are forgiven our sins. That you will understand that His divine and everlasting life experienced death and resurrection and is now avaliable to cleanse us from sin as we cooperate in obedience to his Torah through faithfulness.

No. 3: That if you have embraced the Sabbath and Feast days that this chronology will immeasurably strengthen the foundation for it.

No. 4: To ultimately unify the Torah observant faithful in Messiah Yeshua, not because I have authority, which I do, but because I prove what I say, and show you how to understand the proofs for yourself, so that you do not have to rely on my authority, but on a precise knowledge of what Scripture says.

I have stated the positive agenda. Now I will state the negative agenda.

If you are one of the many divisive teachers preying on and dividing those who are discovering the blessings of Torah, then this chronology is going to destroy your positions. My goal is not to debate you, but to rescue everyone else from you.

For those who have abandoned the Sabbath and teach the so called "Lunar Sabbath" theory, the truth found here will destroy your theory.

For those who think the Qumran/Zadokite calendar is the truth, the truth found here will destroy your system.

And more gently, if you follow Rabbinic calculations of the new moon, that you will reconsider and switch to the ancient method of sighting the new moon, so that the house of Israel may be united. The truth found here supports the ancient method, and not the Rabbis.

Are more gently, that you understand that the feast in the wilderness at Mt. Sinai occured on a Sabbath, and that the Sadducean/Karaite theory of Shavuot is incorrect. That you understand that Yeshua cited the Pharisees as authorities vs. any other group in Judaism (cf. Matthew 23:1-3).

For those who overcome these traps, you will discover here that Daniel 9 is perfectly calculated out to show that Yeshua is the Messiah.

The next points deal with stilted tradition and secular attacks.

That you would understand that Evangelical Christianity is seriously compromised with secular archaeology theories. You can read this between the lines in the early charts after the flood.

That you will understand the appeals to Septuagint (LXX) chronology are needless and without foundation.

That you would understand that the Hebrew text is original and the primary source.

That you would understand that Hebrew was the original language of the world preserved in Canaan, and that things have devolved from it, including Masoretic Hebrew and Modern Hebrew.

That you would understand that linguistic theories of Hebrew based on Proto-Semitic and an older theoretical language evolving into Hebrew is the invention of secular linguists, and that it is mostly speculation. That you would understand that placing Hebrew first, and explaining features in other semitic languages as devolvling from Hebrew is the superior model.

And finally, that you would understand that holding to the absolute inspiration of the Masoretic Text is also an error, that is in respect to its vowel points. And the problem is this. It can be proved that the Masoretes made mistakes. I want you to understand that this does not justify jumping into the Proto-Semitic evolving language dogma. Rather the solution is to recognize that ancient Hebrew has lost features, and yet preserves the original best.

Ok, that is enough on the agenda. You will get loads out of points no. 1 and no. 2, even if you do not understand everything. If you want to dig deeper into the agenda, then please do read the doctrinal page. I have absolutely nothing to hide. My only concern is that you encounter things relevant to your situation in the right order so that you may not be offended by some small matter of difference.
